Ah, Galentine’s Day! The one day a year when you can unapologetically celebrate your closest gal pals and no one can say anything about it! (That was supposed to be a play on a Mean Girls quote, hopefully it made sense).
This Galentine’s Day, I’m planning on celebrating with some of my closest friends at a boozy brunch filled with candy charcuterie boards and lots of gluten free heart-shaped baked goods. I love a good excuse to put together a fun food spread, and this occasion is the perfect time to get together with your besties and bask in your love and appreciation for one another!
My favorite part of any holiday is putting together unique presents, but brainstorming always takes up so much time! I’ve gathered some gift ideas to hopefully spark some inspiration for you, the reader! If you are looking for a gift to get your significant other, hopefully these ideas get your brain juices flowing for that too!
Pro tip: purchase all of your gift boxes and wrapping supplies at the Dollar Tree! They have so many great packaging options and tons of mini candies to choose from!
Gifts for Your Coffee Loving Bestie:
This light pink moka pot is perfect for the girl that can’t start her morning without a cup of coffee… or five. My favorite part of this gift is the color and sleek shape!
My friends and I all love Emma Chamberlain, and her coffee bags are the perfect Galentine’s Day gift. The Social Dog blend is my personal favorite, and it just so happens to be pink. Could it be any more fitting?
There are few things worse than cold coffee in the morning. This light pink insulated Yeti mug will keep anything from coffee to oatmeal hot for HOURS!
Gifts for the Creative, Self-Care Loving BFF:
The “You Are a Badass” collection of books is inspiring and perfect for that friend that’s all about self-love, inspiration, and growth.
I absolutely love to journal. It’s therapeutic and great for setting goals. This light pink heart journal reads, “Make it Happen.” Don’t mind if I do!
Taking photos at your Galentine’s Day brunch has never been easier than it will be with this FujiFilm Instax Mini hot pink camera. It even comes with film!
Ideas That Aren’t Associated With an Affiliate Link:
Some of my favorite gifts in the past have been homemade or experience-based. A great gift to get for a friend or significant other who loves to cook is a gift card to a local cooking class. I know Sur La Table hosts some great ones! Check their site for schedules and more details.
You can also find some pottery, cooking, or fitness classes on Groupon that are sure to be entertaining.
If you have a friend who you love to take photos with, print out all of your favorites and glue them into a homemade scrapbook. Go wild with the stickers and decor!
To Summarize…
Galentine’s Day doesn’t have to be pricy or stressful! Gifts are not required to show your friends or significant others that you love and appreciate them. If you love to give gifts, I’m hoping this list provided you with some inspiration. Have a great holiday, and don’t forget to tell your friends you love them!
