Wash and clean green beans. Slice the ends off and dry them well.
Heat a hefty drizzle of olive oil in a non-stick pan or wok and add green beans.
Fry over medium heat for 7-10 minutes, mixing often until the green beans develop a crispy, golden skin.
To make the sauce, combine all of the ingredients and add hot water little by little until consistency becomes fairly thick, but still runny enough to drizzle.
Slice garlic into thin pieces.
Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan and add garlic slices. Fry over medium-high heat for 2-4 minutes or until garlic becomes crispy. Mix frequently to avoid burning.
Plate green beans in a large plate or bowl, drizzle with the Miso Butter Sauce, top with crispy garlic and chopped fresh herbs. Sprinkle with red chili flakes for an added kick.
