I love air fryer recipes since they require minimal time and effort. Chickpeas are super versatile and one of my favorite ways to cook them is to get them extra crunchy. This vegan recipe can be transformed into anything from a snack to the topping of a main dish. This will quickly become your favorite protein-packed snack!
Crispy Air Fried Chickpeas
Equipment
- Air Fryer
Ingredients
- 15 oz Chickpeas 1 can
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil (or cooking oil of choice)
- 0.5 tsp Cumin
- 0.5 tsp Chili Powder
- 0.5 tsp Garlic Powder
- Red Chili Flakes optional
- Salt/Pepper
Instructions
- Take chickpeas out of the can, drain, and rinse well.
- Dry well with a paper towel.
- Add them to a bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
- Add seasonings and mix well until chickpeas are evenly coated.
- Put them into the air fryer at 380F for 10-12 mins, mixing halfway.
- Serve on top of salad, rice, in a Buddha bowl, or eat them plain!
